A’s pitcher Brandon McCarthy was released from the hospital today, five days after taking a line drive to the head that caused brain surgery on a epidural hemorrhage, a brain contusion and a skull fracture.
McCarthy has been in high spirits during his recovery, joking about his fantasy football roster on twitter, today asked his lovely wife, Amanda, a question that he’s been wondering to find out for a long time.
