After rumblings this morning, Michigan is all set to hire former Miss State and Penn State DC Bob Shoop to a position on the staff:

With Campanile and Partridge heading elsewhere, this is a big hire for Harbaugh and staff. Could Shoop be a co-dc with Don Brown?
Shoop and Brown have ties going back as well. Bob Shoop was a GA at Yale when Don Brown was the DC from 1987-1992. Also when Brown was the HC at Umass from 2004-2008, Shoop was the DB coach in 2006.
