Michigan Looks To Be In Great Shape To Land Top Transfer Portal Player

The Wolverines are losing starting kicker Dominick Zvada to graduation and are looking for a new place-kicker. A great option just became available and it’s Pitt kicker Trey Butkowski:

There’s mutual interest between Michigan and Pittsburgh kicker transfer Trey Butkowski, per source.

Butkowski has three years of eligibility remaining, and went 20-of-23 on FGs and was a Lou Groza Award semifinalist in 2025.

Michigan also recently added Pitt long-snapper Nico Crawford. We’ll see how things develop.
