AJ McCarron and Barrett Jones push and shove each other during on-field argument

Seeing two teammates get into a physical argument on the field is never a good sign, and is often confusing.  When two teammates get into a physical argument when they are winning in the National Championship game by a considerable margin is almost unfathomable; especially because these two are roommates and good friends.  I have never seen anything like this, too bad we will never know what they actually said to each other.  They appeared to make-up on the field right after, but it just shows how competitive everyone on Alabama really is.

The fact that it didn’t matter what the score was and that both of them had such an intense attention to detail, that they got into this altercation is exactly why Alabama won and exactly why they are the best players in the country at their respective positions.

McCarron walks up behind Jones and no more than gets in position, and gets pissed off…. Waving his hands and moving away from Jones rear….. saying to himself “DAMN that’s RAUNCHY!” then goes around front to tell Jones to “never fart in his face like that, and lay off the deviled eggs!” to which Jones replies with a shove and an F.O.

Never show up your teammate; even during a blowout and especially when he outweighs you by 100 lb.
