With Michigan officially parting ways with Juwan Howard, we compiled a list of potential candidates for the head coaching job in Ann Arbor.
Dusty May – FAU
Rumblings that he is a strong candidate for the Ohio State job, May, who helped FAU to a Final Four last year and will take them to the NCAA tournament once again with over 25 wins. The big caveat is that May has a huge buyout with FAU.
Mick Cronin – UCLA
Cronin crushed Michigan and Juwan Howard’s dreams back in the 2021 Elite 11 when he led UCLA to the Final Four as an 11 seed. Cronin is thought of as one of the best basketball coaches and wouldn’t come cheap as he is already one of the highest paid coaches in basketball.
