While her husband was being judged by Congress, Michelle Obama got to enjoy the day on the sidelines at the West Side Tennis Club. She visited the U.S. Open Friday to promote her campaign against childhood obesity and also to praise U.S. Tennis Association’s initiative to build kid-sized courts. Obama, who began playing tennis after Harvard law school, got some strokes in playing doubles against Serena Williams. She then cheered on American’s John Isner and Andy Roddick with Billie Jean King, John McEnroe, James Blake and Katrina Adams.
