Minnesota was down 4-3 with time winding down on their season when defenseman Jared Spurgeon buried this great shot past Semyon Varlamov. The patience he had to wait on a diving Nathan MacKinnon was absolutely fantastic.
Then, in overtime, Nino Niederreiter unleashed this absolutely bomb past Varlamov to give the Wild the upset.
The Wild bench was pretty happy to say the least.
Per @EliasSports: Nino Niederreiter, 21, is 2nd-youngest player in #StanleyCup Playoffs history to score in OT of Game 7 (C. Lemieux, 20).
