Wild D Keith Ballard Knocked Out Cold On Hit From Islanders’ Matt Martin

Minnesota Wild defenseman Keith Ballard went to dump the puck in on a routine play and got absolutely destroyed on a devastating hit by Matt Martin. Ballard was knocked out cold on the play from the forearm to the head that drove him into the boards. He would eventually wake up and leave the ice but he was taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
