Minnesota Wild captain Mikko Koivu was trying to lift New York Rangers defenseman Mark Staal’s stick and drilled his teammate Zach Parise in the face. The cut was pretty gruesome and there was a ton of blood everywhere, but after getting stitched up, Zach Parise returned to the game.
