Team USA blew out the Dominican Republic last night in an exhibition game, 113-59. Kevin Durant showed why some consider him the best player on the planet, shooting 5-for-5 from the 3 point line in the first 15 minutes of the game. Durant finished with 24 points and had several entertaining plays.
Anthony Davis, who replaced an injured Blake Griffin, delivered one of the more memorable moments from the night. The No. 1 pick for the New Orleans Hornets, Davis hit a three pointer in the final seconds of the game. He then proceeded to point at his former coach, John Calipari, who is now the head coach for the Dominican team. At least Coach Cal got his Championship in 2012 on the back of Anthony Davis and can now laugh at facing The Unibrow.
