ESPN’s Brian Windhorst is reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers may be looking to trade for SG Joe Johnson in exchange for Brendan Haywood:

The Cleveland Cavaliers are considering trading for Brooklyn Nets star Joe Johnson with their Brendan Haywood contract chip, sources told

Windhorst also notes that Anderson Varejao, who is coming off a season-ending ruptured Achilles tendon injury, could be sent to Brooklyn as well.

Johnson, set to make $24.8 million next year, averaged 14.4 ppg. last season. A starting five of Kyrie Irving, Joe Johnson, LeBron James, Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson could be pretty lethal.
