There are very few shooting specialists quite like the Atlanta Hawks’ Kyle Korver. Korver, who for his career has shot 42.5% from the three-point line, was originally drafted by the New Jersey Nets with the 51st pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. An article in Grantland notes that Korver was then immediately sold to the Philadelphia 76ers for $125,000. What did the Nets do with the extra cash you ask?
Nets traded Kyle Korver in the 2003 draft to the 76ers for $125,000. Nets used some of that money for a new copy machine. (via Grantland)

You’d have to wonder if the Nets regret trading one of the league’s best shooter? Or maybe they don’t; the copy machine turned into one of the best in the office.
