With the NHL lockout still going strong, the Los Angeles Kings have gotten some bonus time with the Stanley Cup and this time Los Angeles Lakers Small Forward Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest) got to meet the Cup.
It was pretty cool to see him genuinely interested in the trophy and its history, and I will be forever jealous that he was able to eat almonds out of the Stanley Cup. Being famous definitely has its perks.
Metta World Peace asked if George Washington had ever touched the Stanely Cup. He was upset that he hadn't.
