As great as Adam Silver and the NBA were with handling the Donald Sterling situation, the gesture they offered to Baylor’s Isiah Austin was even better. Austin, who had his basketball career come to an end last week after finding out he has Marfan syndrome, a genetic condition that weakens the body’s connective tissue, saw his lifelong dream come true after being drafted. Incredible moment.
