Yasiel Puig with bat flip for the ages on triple

Puig-bat-flip-tripleDodgers sensation Yasiel Puig thought he hit a 4th inning home run off Adam Wainwright in Game 3 of the NLCS, so the 22-year-old rookie tossed his bat aside and raised up for a pose. The only problem — the ball didn’t make it over the right-field wall. Puig still managed a triple on the play and picked up an RBI to give the Dodgers a 2-0 lead over the Cardinals. Puig-Bat-Flip-Triple-Hit

As you can see from the GIF below Magic Johnson was very happy with Puig’s first hit of the series. Puig entered the game 0-for-10 with six strikeouts.

If that was Mike Trout hitting a triple in the alcs he would not celebrate but he would probably do a David Freese after he touched the bag at 3rd like Freese did in game 6 of 2011 world series clapping his hands to dugout facing the crowd as the the busch stadium crowd was in frenzy.

Even though he hot dogged it at the beginning he still legging out a triple kinda silence the critics a little.   Dodgers needed that moment.

I despise this hot-dogging moron., and it has nothing to do with his race or nationality. Too bad he legged out the triple. I would have loved to see him get totally humiliated instead of only partially having to eat crow. Oh well, 0 for 10 with 6 K’s prior to this premature gamesmanship will have to do. Maybe he’ll go hitless for the rest of the series, too. What a jackass…
