San Francisco Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval has been in quite a slump to start the season, but he proved on Tuesday night that you can still contribute during a slump. Sandoval took a pitch inside, but the hit-and-run was already on, so Brandon Belt was already running. Pittsburgh Pirates catcher Tony Sanchez looked to have plenty of time to throw Belt out, so Sandoval took a comically late swing to force an errant throw. The swing may have changed the count from 1-1 to 0-2, but it got the runner to second safely and provided us with this hysterical video.
