At the end of their win on Wednesday night, there was a massive bench-clearing brawl between the Armada Blainville-Boisbriand and the Drakar Baie-Comeau. Cedric Paquette of Blainville-Boisbriand was running his mouth after the horn had sounded on their 4-3 win and some Baie-Comeau players obviously took exception to it. A massive brawl ensued, including an awesome fight between the two teams backup goalies. The playoff series is now tied 2-2, heading back to Baie-Comeau and you can guarantee that things between these teams aren’t done yet. I would be shocked if no one was suspended for this incident.
The box score for the third period is pretty comical.
UPDATE: Suspensions have apparently been handed out.
