Carl Pettersson was lined up to hit his second shot at the par 4 5th hole when his ball was hit by an errant tee shot from Brandon Crick when he was in his backswing. Pettersson was allowed to place his ball where it had been before, without a penalty stroke, and managed to save par on the hole. The fact that the tee shot didn’t strike any of the other players in the fairway is very lucky, and the odds of this happening have to be astronomical. This is easily one of the most bizarre, and hilarious, things you will ever see happen on a golf course.
