Maria Sharapova isn’t participating in the US Open after withdrawing because of bursitis in her right shoulder. The WTA’s No.3 ranked player posted the above picture to her Twitter account of her paddle boarding in the Caribbean Sea. She later tweeted that she was in danger in the ocean, because, you know, sharks!
I really did not need to see a reef shark while paddle boarding at snail speed. #sharkweek is supposed to be over.
