After losing his starting job to JJ McCarthy, Cade McNamara has continued working and being the ‘captain’ he was elected to be for the Wolverines:

Asked LT Ryan Hayes how Cade McNamara is handling QB situation: “We all love Cade. He’s our captain still. He’s come into the building with a smile on his face every day. He’s going to do what he can. We all still look at him as a captain. He hasn’t changed his outlook at all.”
