With the NCAA now allowing college teams to redshirt players who have played four or less games in a year, Michael Spath, a radio host for Inside The Huddle, believes that Joe Milton will now see action this fall:
The new redshirt rule pretty much guarantees we'll see Joe Milton against Western Michigan and SMU, and if he has the goods, all year. If he's not ready, you can still play him twice more and redshirt him. Good lord … what a rule. #GameChanger

Milton said during the Wolverines’ spring trip to Paris that the QB race is currently tied between himself, Brandon Peters, Shea Patterson and Dylan McCaffrey.
