Journalist Breaks Story On B1G Teams Sharing Michigan’s Plays, OSU Fans Are Going After Him

The AP’s Larry Lage published an article Monday stating that Michigan has evidence from an unnamed B1G Staffer that several teams around the Big Ten have been passing around their signals last season.

The spreadsheet was compiled with details from a handful of coaches and programs across the Big Ten, the person said. He also said he gave the details to Michigan last week because he hoped it would help Jim Harbaugh’s embattled program and that he believes Harbaugh and his coaches are being unfairly blamed for the actions of a rogue staffer.

Several Buckeyes have uncovered Lage’s LinkedIn profile and noticed that he is from Ann Arbor, stating that it ‘makes sense.’

Little did they know, Lage was a Michigan State grad and once was the Spartans mascot. He covers Michigan sports for the Associate Press.
