Noteworthy Takeaways From Michigan Football’s Spring Roster

Michigan’s spring rosters have just been released (see it in entirety here).   With the updated heights, weights and jersey-numbers, here are some noteworthy things from the release.

Running backs are big

  • Derrick Green, 5-foot-11, 233 pounds,
  • Deveon Smith, 5-foot-11, 228 pounds
  • Ty Isaac, 6-foot-3, 240 pounds
  • Drake Harris, 6-foot, 207 pounds

Spring positing-changes 

  • Brady Pallante has moved from DT to FB.
  • Ross Taylor-Douglass has moved back to CB after playing RB last season and coming to Michigan as a CB recruit.

Notable weights gains

  • TE Ian Bunting gained 14 pounds and is now 243
  • DT Willie Henry is up 18 pounds to 311
  • OL Ben Braden up 9 pounds to 331
  • S Jabrill Peppers is up 3 pounds and is now 205
  • OT Logan Tuley-Tilan added 19 pounds and is 309
  • DT  Bryan Mone up 13 pounds to 325
