Nation’s Top Cornerback Changes Michigan Visit Plans

According to ESPN’s Tom VanHaaren, Darnay Holmes, a five-star cornerback out of California, won’t be in Ann Arbor this weekend.

ESPN 300 defensive back Darnay Holmes says he has a change in his visit plans. The No. 40 ranked prospect and his father said Holmes will not take any official visits until November. The California prospect was slated to visit Michigan this weekend, but will no longer take that trip to focus on his season. Holmes’ father told ESPN.com’s Erik McKinney that Michigan, Ohio State and potentially Nebraska will get official visits with Georgia and Tennessee potentially getting unofficial visits. The schedule is all fluid and could change, though, his father noted.

Scout.com notes that Holmes is expected to official to Michigan sometime this fall.
