After Michigan’s secondary put up a terrible performance in the loss to Michigan State, Rivals’ Chris Balas is reporting that Bob Schoop, who was hired this offseason to man the DB job, hasn’t been coaching the last several months:
Now seeing @Balas_Wolverine is reporting that Bob Schoop is no longer safeties coach at Michigan, but with no reason given.
We’re hearing it was over a fight with another coach.

Balas also added that a ‘young defensive backs coach’ has been working with the position.
