Rumor: Michigan DT Bryan Mone Injured, Potentially Out For Season

Update: Allen Trieu of Scout.com has heard that Mone broke his leg and the best case scenario is a mid-October return but UM fans should be prepared for the DT to be out the entire 2015-16 season ($).

Original Story below:

Big things were expected in the upcoming season from sophomore DT Bryan Mone. However, Woodson4Life, a poster to TheWolverine.com, is saying that he received a message from the 6-foot-4, 325-pound Mone that he had suffered a broken femur.

Rivals.com’s Chris Balas is also saying that he heard that Mone suffered a serious injury, but is still trying to confirm ($).

If the reports are indeed true, losing Mone, a true nose tackle, would definitely be a sting to the Wolverines’ defense. Ryan Glasgow, Willie Henry and Maurice Hurst will all be looked to fill in for Mone.

We’ll keep you updated as more news circulates.
