Michigan To Use Two-QB System Against Utah?

According to Dave Revsine of Big Ten Network, it seems as though both Jake Rudock and Shane Morris could take snaps when the Wolverines take the field on September 3rd against Utah.

Here’s what BTN wrote in their ‘5 things we learned at Michigan practice‘ post

1. Jake Rudock figures to win the quarterback spot. The Iowa senior transfer is the one signal-caller who gives Michigan the best chance to win out of the gate. And, that’s an important consideration for a Wolverines squad that faces one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the nation: at Utah; Oregon State; UNLV; BYU. Rudock threw the ball well today and worked with the top units along with junior lefty Shane Morris. Rudock is a savvy vet with lots of starting experience. Redshirt freshman Wilton Speight and true freshmen Alex Malzone and Zach Gentry don’t figure to be ready. All practiced today, along with Houston transfer John O’Korn. Gentry is impressive at 6-7, 230 pounds. Reminds me physically of Ryan Mallett. You all remember him.

Scout.com’s Sam Webb and 247Sports’ Steve Lorenz are also both hearing that Rudock is the favorite to be the starter.
