Three-star offensive tackle Stephen Spanellis announced on Twitter that he was switching his commitment from Virginia to Michigan. Spanellis, ranked as the No. 61 OT in the country, visited Ann Arbor last weekend.

Spanellis is a teammate of fellow UM OL commit Deverey Hamilton at Gilman High School in Baltimore, Maryland (head coach is the father of Michigan FB/TE Henry Poggi).
It appears as though the Wolverine staff prefers Spanellis to Erik Swenson, who reportedly had his scholarship pulled earlier in the week.
