247sports’ Steve Wiltfong put together some bold predictions for the top uncomitted 2023 recruits. Here’s what he wrote about the top athlete and No. 10 recruit Nyck Harbor:
Michigan and South Carolina moved the needle with September official visits, return trips to each campus. LSU was in line to get an official this past weekend but the 11 am local kickoff made for Harbor to have to reschedule for later because of his own game schedule. That will be the first weekend in December now and the only future trip locked in right now per his father. Those three have always been considered top contenders, but Harbor also has intrigue with Georgia and Miami and local Maryland will get a say before it’s all said and done. USC rounds out the seven finalists. I know Harbor loved his return to South Carolina, but that Michigan trip matched it if not exceeded it. Harbor is taking his time with the process and this one is expected to go the distance.
