Michigan offensive guard commit Michael Onwenu was named one of the top 5 lineman at this past weeks The Opening event. Onwenu, currently ranked in the composite as the No. 155 player in the country (No. 6 overall guard), could be bumped up to a five-star in the future according to a recent Bleacher Report article.

Sanjay Kirpalani of B/R notes that even though Onwenu stands at a massive 6-foot-3 and 370-pounds, the Detroit native showed good athleticism and was one of the best all week in the trenches. 247Sports ranks Onwenu as the top guard in the country and No. 62 overall.
