Could Former No. 1 QB Prospect Be Looking To Transfer To UM?

Jacob Eason, the No. 7 player and No. 1 QB in the 2016 class, lost his starting job as Georgia’s QB to freshman Jake Fromm. Eason, who injured his knee in the season opener, apparently could be looking for a new home. While we can’t confirm the credibility, here’s a tweet about UM and Eason gaining steam on Twitter:

Georgia also has the commitment from the No. 1 player in 2018, Justin Fields. Eason would have to sit out a year if he decides to transfer.

This scenario would seem unlikely as the Wolverines will have Brandon Peters, Dylan McCaffrey and two freshmen QBs, Joe Milton and Kevin Doyle, at quarterback in 2019.
