With four-star QB Alex Malzone already in the fold, it sounds as though Michigan may not be done recruiting the position for the 2015 class. Jim Harbaugh will head to Gilmer, Texas to see southpaw, McLane Carter, sometime this week.

The recruiting ‘dead period’ ends Wednesday. The 6-foot-3 Carter, who finished his senior season throwing for 3,969 yds, 47 TDs, 2 INTs and completing 74% of his passes, helped Gilmore to an undefeated season. Carter is currently unranked in all the recruiting services.
