247Sports take: The top-ranked safety in the 2019 class per the 247Sports Composite, Hill comes to Ann Arbor with sizable expectations. Sam Webb, the publisher over at Michigan Insider, believes he’ll become an impact player in his first season under defensive coordinator Don Brown’s direction. “I think he has to be ‘a guy’ for Michigan in season one if the defense is going to be in the vicinity of last year’s unit. I won’t be surprised if he is the day-one starter, and I would be surprised if he is NOT the starter by the midway point of the season,” Webb said earlier this spring.
