Looks Like Michigan State Could Be Landing A Major Transfer Portal QB

Aidan Chiles, a former top 100 recruit and a freshman QB for Oregon State, has entered his name into the transfer portal with all signs pointing to East Lansing and Michigan State being the landing spot:

Chiles saw time as a backup for OSU with DJ Uiagalelei the starter last season but still threw for over 300-yards and 4 TDs.

With Jonathan Smith now the MSU head coach, it is no surprise that a former player or two would join him at MSU.

Chiles is ranked as 247sports’ top player in the transfer portal:

Transfer grade: 98

Oregon State quarterback Aidan Chiles entered the transfer portal Monday, instantly becoming the top available player at the position according to 247Sports’ rankings. Brandon Huffman reported on 247Sports’ “Portal Palooza” live stream that Chiles is expected to follow his former coach, Jonathan Smith, to Michigan State next season where he would presumably start after the Spartans watched several signal callers leave for the portal this cycle.
