Via CBS’ Dennis Dodd, Shea Patterson’s transfer waiver request for immediate eligibility is at a ‘standstill’, according to Thomas Mars, Patterson’s attorney:
Mars told CBS Sports that the NCAA received Patterson’s full transfer package on Feb. 26. However, the NCAA still needs to send the package to Ole Miss and there is a 10-day period for the school to review the package.
“So, from a technical rules perspective, despite having all the information for the past two weeks, Old Miss could continue to keep its position on the Shea Patterson waiver request to itself for at least another two weeks,” Mars said. “In the meantime, as everyone knows, the process is at a standstill.”
