After re-openeing his recruitment from USC earlier this week, Xavier Griffin, a five-star LB out of Georgia, looks like he already has a new leader. Ranked as a top 10 recruit in the 2026 class, Griffin has since seen a prediction for Alabama:

While USC has the top class in the country, Griffin’s decommitment certainly hurts. He had been committed to the Trojans since July 2024. Griffin is also consider Texas, Ohio State and likely others.
As a sophomore, Griffin recorded 52 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and seven quarterback hurries, showcasing his versatility and impact on the field.
