Matt Carrol, a five-star quarterback out of Long Beach, California, is participating at The Opening this weekend. According to Scout.com’s Sam Webb, Carrol, once a USC pledge, has reached out to the Michigan staff.

Several SEC schools, Georgia, Florida and Alabama, are believed to be the front-runner for the No. 17 prospect in 2018.
