After news broke that Michigan staffer Connor Stalions had reportedly purchased many tickets to future opponents, Michael Barrett Sr., the father of Michigan’s starting LB, posted the following to a fan saying it’s not good:
Man y’all simmer down! No laws or rules broken by staff so calm down! All secondary if any and no penalties unless instructed by staff and can be proven!

Sign stealing is not illegal in the NCAA. It is illegal if a coaches was in attendance at another team’s game. However, there is no evidence that Michigan actually broke any rules.
the kinda wild thing about this is that all of it is technically legal unless a Michigan staffer was there in person doing the recording or paid a "commercial entity." if the NCAA wants to issue a rules clarification, fine. otherwise I don't actually think this changes anything. https://t.co/z6NehAkVie
