Thanks to an incredible defensive effort Saturday against Alabama, the Gators had a shot at upending one of the nation’s best teams. However, the Florida offense was less than impressive, especially quarterback Jeff Driskel, who finished 9-of-28 for 93 yards and two interceptions. Gator legend Emmitt Smith showed his displeasure for Driskel, tweeting that “he’s seen enough”.

Florida’s backup quarterback was Tyler Murphy, who transferred to Boston College. True freshman Treon Harris would be the Gator’s only option if they want to bench Driskel.
