Brandon Peters isn’t worried that the Wolverines brought in Shea Patterson. Peters, who is expected to start at QB in the Outback Bowl, talked with Brad Galli about the former five-star gunslinger joining the Wolverines’ quarterback room (via 247sports):
“If I was the mindset – if I put my mind inside Brandon Peters’ mind, my mindset would be, ‘I’m the starting quarterback, and nobody’s going to take this job away from me.'”
“I don’t really care. “It’s going to happen. At the NFL level, the college level, you’re going to bring guys in. That’s just how things happen. You can’t really get into your emotions too much, that’s going to bring you down. You just have to worry about what you can do. Just stay in the position that you want to be in. So you’ve just got to work. Can’t let anything affect you.”
It’s still unclear whether Patterson will be eligible for the 2018 season as he will have to wait on the NCAAs ruling.
