Video: Jeremy Lamb posterizes defender on dunk

The same night UConn unveiled their 2011 National Championship, sophomore Jeremy Lamb had the highlight of the game with this posterizing dunk.

Lamb, a consensus preseason All American pick, scored a career high 30 points Friday night against Columbia. He also decided to climb the ladder and throw it down on this poor defender trying to take a charge. Start getting used to Lamb doing this on a nightly basis.

This kid's already got a national championship under his belt and his future is brighter than that.

If I were him, though, I'd stay in school, considering there's no 'next level' to jump to at this point.

Ehh! It was aight. Any dunk over a white boy that doesnt jump (not that it would help) does even count in my book. If someone would have at least challenged it, then maybe. Never pull that off in the NBA, if he even makes it. OK dunk over a wack defender, not impressed.

This was pretty clearly an offensive foul. The defender was there a good second and a half before Lamb was. His chest was still moving forward, but he was just bracing himself for impact. Sorry, but I think the dunk of the year was a missed call!

It’s good to see some hoops even if it’s not the pros. Lamb looks like he’s trying to be in the top three picks!!
