Five-Star SG Tyus Battle Flips From Michigan To Syracuse

The No. 17 player in the composite rankings, Battle, once a Michigan commit, visited Syracuse last month and officially gave his commitment to Jim Boeheim and the Cuse on Monday.

Battle told ESPN’s Jeff Goodman the reason for decommitting from Michigan was the distance:

“Michigan is a great school, and I love the people, the staff and Coach Beilein,” Battle said. “But the key was the distance.”
