After being fired from Texas just weeks ago, Charlies Strong is expected to be named the next head coach at USF on Sunday, Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel is reporting:

Strong will be replacing Willie Taggart, who took the Oregon job this week. Strong, 56, was 37-15 at Louisville but just 16-21 in three years in Austin. USF is coming off their first 10-win season in school history.
