DeAndre Kane Hits Game-Winning Shot with 1 Second Left against UNC

DeAndre Kane was absolutely phenomenal in Iowa State’s round of 32 win against UNC on Sunday, hitting the game winning runner in the lane with less than two seconds left in the contest. The 6’6″ point guard nearly had a triple double, dropping a game-high 24 points, grabbing 10 boards, and dishing out 7 assists. In Georges Niang’s absence, Kane was everything the Cyclones needed to get into the Sweet 16, where they’ll play Connecticut.

As good as the shot was by Kane, it will likely be overshadowed by the weird ending to the game and the potential timeout call by UNC.
