Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan’s song “Type of Way” has been the Michigan State victory anthem throughout their 2013 Big Ten Championship season and it appears he has taken notice. Quan is going to be joining the Spartans in Pasadena and because Darqueze Dennard was the one who pushed teammates to listen to the song and is also from Georgia, Quan requested a #31 jersey.
“I want to be out there in a green jersey and feel a part of Michigan State,’’ Quan told MLive.com. “I want to be at the game, I want to be out there with them. I feel a part of Michigan State now, and you don’t even know what it means to me.’’
I’m sure the Spartans are even more excited now than they were before.
