Anaheim Ducks score own-goal to lose in overtime to New Jersey Devils

It seems like there have been a lot more own-goals in the NHL this year than in year’s past.  The New Jersey Devils tied the game with 61 seconds left to force overtime with the Anaheim Ducks.  In overtime, the Devils went down on a two-on-one but it the play was broken up thanks to the phenomenal back check Hampus Lindholm.  Unfortunately, Lindholm’s defensive partner Ben Lovejoy, picked up the loose puck and fired it off his teammate Corey Perry’s shin pads and into the net.  Devils forward Travis Zajac was credited with the game-winning goal, though he didn’t have to do very much thanks to Lovejoy and Perry.
