Tim Hudson had his ankle stepped on, left game on stretcher

Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson ran over to cover first base in the 8th inning after the New York Mets’ Eric Young Jr. hit a grounder to first.  As Hudson went to tag the base, Young accidentally stepped on Hudson’s ankle, bending it badly.  Hudson was taken off the field on a stretcher and Young fought back tears as he apologized profusely.
