Wisconsin hits buzzer beater against Michigan to send game to overtime

This was painful for Michigan fans.  With Indiana, Kansas and Florida losing earlier this week, all Michigan had to do was win and take back the #1 ranking.

Tim Hardaway Jr hit a huge three-pointer to give Michigan the lead with 2.4 seconds left.  But Ben Brust of Wisconsin was having none of it, as he hit a running 42 footer to tie the game as time expired.  The place erupted and the Badgers had all the momentum, and unsurprisingly, knocked off Michigan in overtime, 65-62.

It was a game Michigan should have won, but Wisconsin is a good team, and it is extremely tough to win on the road in the Big Ten this year.  Big Ten basketball has more than made up for how terrible the conference was during football season.
