Twitter reactions to no Baseball Hall of Fame member being elected

The Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) failed to elect anyone to the new Baseball Hall of Fame class for the first time since 1996 and only the eighth time since voting began in 1936.  The list of names that were shunned included Barry Bonds, Mike Piazza, Sammy Sosa, Alan Trammel, Jack Morris,  Craig Biggio and Roger Clemens. Biggio was the closest to being elected but came up 39 votes short of the 427 needed. Surprise, surprise, but none of the connected steroid players were even close to being elected, including the Home Run King, Barry Bonds (36.2%).

It was disappointing to hear this news but the reactions from the Twittersphere made everything better:
