Lions KR Stefan Logan takes a knee at the four-yard line on free-kick

Mike Tirico said it best: “There have been more bizarre, bad, bonehead decisions by Stefan Logan as a returner than I have seen by anyone else as a returner this year.”  What is Logan thinking here?  This is just absolutely horrific decision making by Logan, and he should probably be cut in the off-season; literally inexcusable.  That play was a microcosm of the Detroit Lions season this year.

Jim Schwartz’s reactions say it all:

What could he have seriously been thinking? That he was in the end zone? That the lions were winning? The Falcon players around him gave him an ear full and made him feel really dumb really quick. Stefan Logan has been a waste of space for a long time and it’s time for him to go.

In fact, the Detroit Lions have made so-o-o-o many “bonehead mistakes” since Schwartz has become head coach. This is a coaching issue, not necessarily a player issue. Schwartz may be the stupidest coach in the NFL.

I have to agree, the Lion’s problem is coaching right from the top.

This guy wants out . He has consistantly fair caught kicks he should have returned and tried to run with balls he should have stuck his hand in the air on. How about the one earlier when he tried to wave off a blocker ,then ran with it and appeared dumbfounded by the whistle. Can he possibly be this stupid?

I wonder if the Lions give thir players intelligence tests before they sign them? The Lions possess some of the dumbest players in the NFL and they just keep getting dumber!! Most of the mistakes they make are covered in peewee football years and in no way should they be happening in this league !! The offensive line led by that waste of time Cherilous have had these types of brain cramps for years!! In addition the Lions have the worst special teams in the league. Schwartz should get one more season with a playoff or else mandate or he should be gone!! This team badly needs brains on the field!!

I’ve watched the Lions self destruct in access af 50 years. I remember the last championship. But this group for all its stars can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory better then all the rest of the teams combined. This even takes into account the 0 team. As much as I hate to blame the coach, (he don’t throw the interceptions, nor take the knee at the 4 yard line.) I honestly think it would be best for all concerned if they brought in an enforcer. There is to much talent on this team to be 4-12.

I think Logan has had his bell rung one to many times. And the clacker is gone. What an idiot !!
